A study of multiple information sources, including a recent survey of 33 community sites in Warrior, Morris, and Hayden, spotlighted a new facility as the critical factor in enabling the library to serve these growing communities.

Primary areas of need were identified:

1. increased space
2. improved comfort level
3. areas for study, reading and research
4. meeting rooms for:
   • library programs
   • tutoring, and
   • community organization meetings
